I am the Engineering Officer for my team, AKA, the MAGE! As a Mage in my team I can transfer mana in Classcraft, which gives AP or Action Points to my teammates so they can use their powers in class!

Actually, that is my Test Account. I'm really the teacher for my amazing Homeroom Class, a course focusing on writing and communicating through various media such as blogging, and Science, an amazing STEM course that I love to teach.

I have three incredible classes of 6th grade students and we have been gearing up for the best school year ever! It started with a trip to Camp Cispus in the gorgeous Gifford Pinchot National Forest where we got to go to Windy Ridge and Spirit Lake, among other locations, to get a great view of the Mt Saint Helens crater left after the May 18, 1980 lateral blast that cause a whole lot of commotion and killed 57 people.

I do enjoy writing and I maintain a professional learning teacher blog that gets a lot of visits every month. I also love teaching Science and this year students get to learn Science through robotics, which I also love, using the Lego Mindstorms EV3 robots! We end the year with another passion of mine, an Environmental Stewardship Project that 6th graders in Chimacum have been doing for over 16 years! Yeah, life here is good.
